Vicky recently assisted us in clearing items from a deceased estate. It was an urgent job and she was tasked with finding items which were like a needle in a haystack of clutter! We were absolutely blown away by Vicky’s positive attitude, competence, professionalism and efficiency as she sorted through very personal and confidential documents and items whilst we were not able to be there due to Covid restrictions on international travel. Vicky is an absolute gem and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I came across Vicky Sim quite by accident, at a time when I was desperately trying to encourage my mother to start packing up the home she had been in for 23 years. Where my mother was disinclined to take encouragement and advice from her daughter, she found it easier to do so from this compassionate, encouraging, but firm, “stranger”. With my living in Cape Town, it was such a relief and a blessing to know there was someone professional, trustworthy and efficient in Durban to oversee the early phases of packing and identifying what was to be kept and what was to be disposed of. Her list of appropriate third parties to assist where required was also invaluable. She was scrupulous in keeping me updated during the weeks prior to my arrival. I do not know how we would have managed it all without her assistance and I highly recommend her service.

Vicky helped my husband to sort, organise, pack up, give away and move an entire household in less than two weeks! She lovingly and patiently helped my mother-in-law to choose what clothing/linen/paintings etc would go with her to the senior residence, organised the different charities and auction house to collect, and packed up everything! All while remaining calm in the chaos, and helping the family manage a very tough transition. Vicky, you will need to visit us in Cape Town – thank you so much for all your patience and dedication.

Just wanted to let you know the filing system is working extremely well, it is keeping me so organised and filing is a pleasure now and the flow is really good. Everyone is so impressed that I can find things at the drop of a hat while moving. Thanks again for getting this done with me, it was definitely worth the investment.

Vicky is truly incredible and I cannot recommend her and her company highly enough. She helped us clear a house filled with four decades worth of things in a matter of days. She is exceptionally professional, efficient and responsive and made an immensely difficult task straightforward and achievable. Vicky combines sensitivity for the difficult task of clearing a house with an amazing work pace.
